Are you looking for wholesome and fun leisure activities for you and/or the whole family?!
We are excited to launch Pastorate Meet-ups that will be posted in the pastorate bulletin and here on the website.
These meet-up activities will be organized by trained Missionary Disciples (those who have been through Reach More Mission Training) throughout our pastorate to offer opportunities of wholesome fun and authentic community around various events and hobbies.
These events can range from walking/hiking outings, golfing, park visits, or even just watching a Brewer’s game at a local bar. They will be atmospheres to build connection, joy and trust with others in our pastorate community. We can all enjoy each other’s company, benefit from pre-planned or simple events, and just get to know each other!
Some of the pre-planned events may be Meet-ups offered at local festivals, concerts in the park, farmers markets, or parades.
Events will be advertised in the bulletin and on this page with the details listed at the end of this article. Some events may have a specific audience such as: men’s gatherings, whole family gatherings, or park play dates with the kids. It will be specified if it's aimed at a particular gender or age group. If there is no specification, assume it is open to all ages and single or married!
How to attend a Meet-up:
You will need to email the Host of the Meet-up to RSVP and find out details on exactly where to meet them on the day of the event. Most events will likely be a one time deal, but some will lend themselves to become a recurring event such as play dates in the park.
Look for the following info in future bulletins and this page, and be sure to RSVP to save your spot at a meet-up you are interested in joining!
